What is Soully Chat?

Soully Chat is a temporary private chat tool for two people. It is not a social network: there are no public profiles, friend lists, account search, or group chats, and participants do not need to exchange phone numbers or social accounts first.

After a room is created, the system generates an unpredictable random link. Both participants set four-digit passcodes to enter and retain their seats. Once the room is full, a third person cannot join.

It is designed for people who want a quick one-to-one conversation without installing an app or adding each other as friends. The invitation link is still the room entrance, so share it only with someone you trust.

How does end-to-end encryption protect the conversation?

The two browsers establish an end-to-end encrypted session. Text is encrypted before leaving the sender’s device, and every image is encrypted with a separate random file key before upload. The server relays and stores ciphertext, but does not receive the chat private key needed to directly recover the message body.

End-to-end encryption protects message content in transit and in server storage. It cannot stop the other participant from taking screenshots or copying content, and it cannot protect a device that is already compromised. Security still depends on trusted devices, browsers, and careful handling of the invitation link.

  • Text is encrypted before sending
  • Images are encrypted separately before upload
  • The server stores and relays ciphertext

How do generated names and avatars reduce identity exposure?

A fixed name, familiar photo, contact label, and friend graph can identify someone before a message is even opened. Soully Chat does not reuse those public profile details. It generates an anonymous name and displays an avatar derived from the room identity instead.

Each room keeps only two participant seats. Each participant uses a four-digit passcode to verify and recover the original seat through the supported recovery flow.

  • System-generated anonymous name
  • Avatar does not use a real social profile
  • No public page or friend graph
  • Two people only, with passcode verification

How is chat history deleted?

Soully Chat does not automatically destroy a message after it is read. A participant can actively clear the current history or close the room. Clearing removes server-side messages and related images; closing makes the room inaccessible.

Server-side deletion cannot erase screenshots, copied content, browser caches, or device backups already saved by the other person. More precisely, Soully Chat provides server-side record deletion rather than promising to eliminate every copy on every device.

  • Actively clear chat history
  • Delete related images at the same time
  • Close the entire room

Design comparison

A different starting point from mainstream social apps

Mainstream social products prioritize lasting connections and cross-device continuity. Soully Chat is designed around one temporary, two-person room.

AreaCommon mainstream designSoully Chat
AccountUsually tied to a lasting account or phone numberNo registration or phone number
Name and avatarUsually reuse a public or persistent identityGenerated for the selected language

Note: individual social apps differ. This table compares common design priorities, not every platform without exception.

How do you create a private chat room for two?

The process requires no registration, phone number, email verification, or friend request. The creator generates a room from the Soully Chat homepage and sends the link to the person they want to talk with.

To reduce accidental exposure, send the link separately through a trusted channel and stop forwarding it after confirming that the right person has entered. When the conversation ends, clear the history or close the room.

  • Select “Create private chat”
  • Copy the random invitation link
  • Send the link to one person
  • Start the encrypted conversation after both enter

When is a temporary private chat useful?

A temporary link can be useful when two people do not want to exchange phone numbers or social accounts or install another app. It is especially relevant to two people in an intimate relationship they cannot make public, as well as short-term collaboration, a sensitive confirmation, a temporary conversation with a stranger, or simply a quiet conversation with one person.

It is not suitable for emergency help, long-term records, preserving legal evidence, or as the only backup of important files, and it must not be used for harassment, coercion, or illegal activity. Important material should still use a professional service with access controls, auditing, and reliable backups.

Soully Chat is not about making someone “absolutely invisible.” Its purpose is to request less identity information, limit the conversation to fewer participants, and allow server-side records to be actively removed, reducing the chance that a temporary conversation leaves a long-term trace.

Frequently asked questions about private two-person chat

Direct answers to the most common questions about security, identity, and data in a temporary chat room without sign-up.

Do I need an account to use Soully Chat?

No. Neither the creator nor the invited participant needs to provide a phone number, email address, or fixed nickname, and there is no friend relationship to create. Generate a room, copy the random link, and send it to the other person.

Is Soully Chat completely anonymous?

Soully Chat does not require a public account or real name, so it is a low-identity way to chat. However, the server may process connection information needed for security, rate limiting, and operation, and the other participant may identify you from what you say. No sign-up does not mean you can never be identified under any circumstances.

Can anyone else read the messages?

Text and images use end-to-end encryption. The server receives ciphertext and does not hold the chat private key needed to directly read the content. The other participant can still read, copy, or screenshot it, and content may be exposed if a device is compromised.

Can a cleared or closed chat be restored?

Soully Chat does not provide a server-side recovery path. Clearing removes messages and related images, and closing also ends access to the room. Screenshots, copied content, or device backups already saved by the other person cannot be deleted remotely.

Can I send images as well as text?

Yes. The room supports PNG, JPG, GIF, and WebP images. Images are processed and encrypted in the browser before upload. Arbitrary file attachments are not currently supported.

Leave the public profile outside. Bring only what you want to say.

Generated names and avatars, two-person access, end-to-end encryption, one-step clearing, and room closure are ready from the moment you enter.
